The one man that I have looked up to the most throughout my life has been my father. I have always listened and learned from my father, in our many experiences together. My dad has taught me many things. My first memory of him teaching me; was when we went on a family trip to Mont. Eagle. My father spent many hours teaching me to ride a bike. My father would read Harry Potter to me as I fell asleep, because I felt left out that my sisters could read. He would take me on camping trips and teach me how to build a fire, set up camp, and to cook breakfast.
My father has inspired me to live differently, because he isn’t effected by others opinions of him. He is very strong about his views and very committed. I have grown up watching my dad become very successful. Throughout his very busy schedule my father has always made time for my sister and I. Weather its dinner every Wednesday and Sunday, or a family trip to the beach. My dad loves to spend time with us and continues to do so. This is the reason that my father is my greatest teacher.

Parents greatest wish
My parents greatest wish for me is to get into a good college. I have two older sisters, Hall and Liz. Hall goes to Tennessee, and Liz is going to go to Berkley. In the process of my sister applying for college, my parents have talked to me about how to have a good resume. The reason my parents want me to get into a good college, is to grow up and make a good living and have a good job. The college your get into affects the rest of your life. When you apply for a job or submit your resume to someone. The college you went to always plays a factor in the outcome. My parents realize this; and they push me to do my best, even if i don't agree with them. They always want me to be involved in activities throughout my week. Whether its sports or another activity. They always want me active. My mom loves to make decisions for me, and signs me up for all sorts of events. In the past year I have been to many diabetes functions, and I am very involved in the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). If my mother wasn't also involved in the foundation, it would be unlikely for me to be. My parents greatest wish for me is to get into a good college.

unrecognizable
I walked into my 15th high school reunion and noticed my old group of friends standing in the corner. There was Jonny, Bryce, Ham and the whole crew. Jackson saw me coming and looked very confused. "Hey guys whats up?" I yelled. As they turned to look at me, I had no hellos in return. Jonny stuttered, "hey, my name is Jonny." I paused for a second. "So what have you been up to?" I asked. What Jonny then said, really shocked me. "Don't mind me asking, but how do we know you?" I was amazed by the fact that nobody recognized me. "Its me Lane Felker; we've been friends since pre-school." Jonny looked strong into my eyes and said "Lane that is you, what happened?"
I wore a baseball cap, with my long hair running over my sholders. I had a T-shirt on that stated, "Country Music should rule the world." I wore long kacky pants with a giant belt buckle hanging down from my waist. My boots ran high almost reaching my knees. "I guess I didn't recognize you," Jonny laughed. I realized my friends didnt recognize me because of how i dressed. In high school I never was into country music. My music in high school molded me, if you take that away i seem different.

What is your goal?
When a team comes up with an goal, a coach tends to push them towards victory. This is reflected in Coach riches actions. When the idea of winning state entered the wrestling teams head, practices became intense. Every day I would dread going down to the smoldering dungen like room, where i knew i would be pushed to my limits. I dreamed of the tournament which marked the end of a long season. Throughout the hard practices and weekend tournaments the wrestlers grew stronger physically and mentally. "i took you to practice everyday," explained my mother. The tournament was finally arrived and I was so excited. We one three matches in a row and won state. "I supported the team the whole season," stated my mother.

Frozen in Time
The camp is large, kids running everywhere. The trees hanging over the gravle road. The lunchroom perched on top of stilts, sits high looking down at the camp. The stonewall runs down the path to the rustic cabins. Lane is excited, and nervous at the same time, sitting quietly in the passenger seat. He turns up the music because he knows it is the last he will hear for a month. Lanes eyes glowing, his mom asks for Lane's cabin number. "Hawkeye," the counselor explains. "The first one on the right." The excitement reaches a high as Lane burst from the car only clenching on to his pillow as he runs. He knows, from stories his sisters have told him, that you have to race to get a bottom-bunk bed. Lane sees the sign as turns the corner of the cabin. Hawkeye in bold white letters was nailed above the door-frame. Lane walked up the three wooden stairs and paced through the screen door. Lane met two boys already in the cabin Wilson and Patrick. He asked them which beds they had chosen. "I have the bottom-left bed and he has the bed right there," said Wilson pointing to the top bunk. Lane became rushed with excitement. He chose the bottom bunk and slept there for the next month.
